Drove down to the nature reserve around 6pm, parked the car, and walked down to the headland.. decided to do a little plugging ... very pleasant evening with a westerly wind around force 2 to 3 ..... low water was due around 10.30pm, but felt I'd finish when the light failed...
Not really much to say.... saw no fish, couldn't see any surface activity due to the combination of the swell and bumpiness of the water..... I had one take around 8.45pm but failed to connect.. :-(
By 9.15pm I'd had enough, the light was almost gone, and decided to pack-up and leave... very disappointing for a venue that looked to promise so much with it's many reefs and deep gullies......
