Guide to Shore Fishing in Jersey

This is only a rough guide to the fishing
that can be expected in the month of : March

March can be a bleak prospect for shore fishing, and tends to be very similar to the previous month of February.

Fishing during daylight is not really an option again, until late in the month, when the first of the garfish may start to show on the north and south west coasts.......

Conger fishing from rough ground marks of the north and south-west coasts, along with Elizabeth Castle, may be fruitful, especially if the weather is mild.....

St.Catherine's Breakwater, along with other harbours, sea walls and piers, may offer the chance of pollack, dogfish, pouting , rockling and conger.
