Pennel-Tube

For this rig, you will need....
Snood line such as 25lb Amnesia,
two hooks... these may be the same size or they may differ ...
I tend to have a larger hook set above a smaller one, but others may do the reverse..
A length of silicon tubing about 15 to 25 mm in length... about twice the length I've shown here .. it needs to be a diameter that will allow both the line and the hook shank to pass, but will also keep them in place..!!!!!!

Cut the end of the Amnesia into a point, and thread the silicon tubing through...

Now thread the line through the eye of what will be the top hook.....

Take the other hook and tie it off to the end, using a grinner knot or half blood knot...

You should now have something that looks like this!!!!!

Now start to push the tube over the eye of the hook...

Try not to twist the line too much as you do....

and then move the tube half way down the shank..

You now have a pennel-tube that can be attached to the main rig body that you wish to construct....
You can adjust the distance between the hooks to suit the bait being used.... this is best done once the bait has been mounted via the lower hook.....
